Hi, everyone,
Woot, the first tips on 2013! Actually, I was kinda confused back then about what to share to start this new year. I'm dying to post another tutorial, I also have some cutesy products to be reviewed, but then it struck my mind: everyone wanna start new on the beginning of the year. You have new resolutions and you want to have a better year. Personally, I think a new look for you can be a good start and the easiest thing you can do now is to get rid of your 2012 "leftovers" at the very least ;P
During the holiday season, I have more time to pampered myself, to be honest :D It was such an amazing year end break! One thing for sure, I'm now obsessed with nail art! Some people might know already that I can't go out of the house without nail polish on, but doing nail art is my new hobby, especially with some glitter involved :)
Yep, I know, removing glittery nails will take ages and a hard work, hence in this post I will show you a quick and easy way to do it!

Yep, I know, removing glittery nails will take ages and a hard work, hence in this post I will show you a quick and easy way to do it!
Let's start by collecting what you need:
1. Regular cotton pads
2. Scissors
3. Regular aluminum foil. I guess everyone can find this at their kitchen :)
4. And your favorite nail polish remover. I prefer to use the acetone-free one so my skin won't dry
I know it looks complicated already, but trust me, this will be fun!

So let's make everything easier. You'll want to have the cotton pads and aluminum foil in pieces, so cut them down into smaller size. I like to cut my cotton pads in half and the foil in approximately 8x8 cm square.
And we can start! Take one half-piece of cotton pad and soak it with your nail polish remover. You don't have to put much, just a generous amount. Make sure the wet part can cover the entire surface of your nail, though.
Now that the cotton pad sitting nicely, quickly take a piece of foil and wrap it around your finger. Tighten it up until you cannot see the cotton pad.

Like so! Do your nails one by one and cover them all with soaked cotton pads and foil.
I know they look weird now :D After you're done with covering, you can wait for about five to fifteen minutes, depends on the intensity of the glitter. Do not leave them too long, though, let your skin breathe again!
To take it off, gently wiggle the foil upwards and voila! You'll be amazed how clean your nail is now!
Look at that all the glitter and old nail polish, they will stick on your cotton pad.
Now do the rest of your nails with the same motion and start to think what color you should wear next :D
Good luck, ladies!
Love,
P
PS: I really don't suggest to do this often, guys, the nail polish remover can really dry up your skin and you'll not fancy that. Anyway, matte or shimmery nail polish will look good on you as well :)
