Christmas is near, everyone, and it's a BIG YAY!
This look is inspired by Christmas color and I find it beautiful for any Christmas party, especially a dinner. It's pretty easy, too, we are going to concentrate on how to keep the face fresh-looking, smoking the eyes with forest green color, and complete everything with bright red lips.
Put your lip balm on, now!
1. Prep your face: clean, tone, dab some eye cream and moisture, and moving on to foundation. Pick a foundation with a semi-matte finish. Plus points if you can find something that will last long. Blend well with your brush or beauty blender, make sure everything's even. Conceal any flaws or blemishes with your favorite concealer and powder to set everything in place :D
2. Define your brows as usual, just lightly to achieve natural look. We want to focus on eye shadow and lipstick. I'm lovin' grey eye brow pencil at the moment as it's easier to apply this color, especially if you're still practicing.
3. Prime your lids, it's Christmas, you want your eye shadow to last the whole day. Using a matte leaf green color, dab the eye shadow on the inner part of your lids. I know it's looking weird now, but trust me it's just the beginning ;) make sure the leaf green color cover the entire inner part of your lids, and you're doing it right.
Now taking a shimmery pine green color (or any darker green will do), cover just the outer corner of your lids. Make sure to dab it evenly until you can see a harsh line where both colors meet in the center of your lids.
It's indeed looking even weirder now, but when you dab golden eye shadow over the harsh line, everything will start to look pretty. Using this third color, blend all color you've applied together. Do it neatly, remember the limit is your crease area. Once it everything's smoking, we can move on to the next step.
4. I love highlighting, but I will do it on my tear duct only for this look and use concealer instead to give my brow bone a clean finish. You can use something a bit glittery to highlight your eyes, it's Christmas, everything is sparkling!
5. I'm currently obsessed with eye liner and for this look, to make it more Christmassy, I prefer to use my shimmery brown gel eye liner. Winged them out, and it will add instant drama to your eyes.
Don't forget your lower lash line! Take the same pine green eye shadow and line your outer part.
6. For the lashes, I want them to look long and thick, so volumizing mascara will be my choice. To make the look wearable even for daytime, pick a pair of demi-lashes and stick them onto the outer part of your upper lash line.
7. Contour and blush on! Dust shimmery bronzer on the hollow of your cheeks, your jaws and your temple and take peachy blush to color the apple of your cheeks. Contouring your nose is optional ,but I love doing it!
8. Last but not least, apply a bright, bright red lipstick and you are done!
Will you recreate this look? And don't forget to pick up your Christmas attributes, ladies, then you are good to go!
So, advance Merry Christmas, everyone!!! :D :D Have a beautiful holiday!
Love,
P
