Hi, everyone,
Don't be confused yet, I know it's the 20th and it's supposed to be a haul post.
So this is what happened: I've decided to combine my haul post with my monthly favorite products from now on. I guess because it's a new year, a lil' change won't hurt ;} I won't talk about all of the product I've bought, though, but this way, I'll do a routine monthly mini-review for your guys :D
Shall we start?

It's rainy season here in Indonesia and the weather absolutely affected my beauty routine, especially when it comes to the makeup base. As it gets colder everyday and everything surround me looks so cloudy, I love to rely on my two friends here to avoid the drained-looking complexion. They're absolutely two things I used the most during the month.
First is my SKIN79 Super+ Beblesh Balm (or BB Cream, you can say that). I've been using this BB cream for almost half a year now and so far, I think this one suits me best. I love the gel-like texture, I love the light coverage, it's also build-able and when you put it on, it feels like you wear nothing. This BB cream also available in other variants, but I like the Hot Pink one as it's not greasy, but has natural finish at the same time. Another good thing, the best way of applying BB cream is with your fingers :) Absolutely an on-the-go product.
The only thing I don't like is it's color: I think it surely has greyish undertone which is not well-match with my yellow-undertone skin. It actually took sometimes to adjust with my skin tone. Hence, I like to mix it up a bit with my Revlon New Complexion.
I've done a review for this particular foundation. If you notice that this one is different than the one I've featured, it's simply because of the packaging.

Moving on to the next product, my package from Coastal Scents has finally arrived! So this is my second palette from the brand and it's the 78 Shadow Blush Palette. I simply in love with this beauty, it has amazing eye shadow colors, the bright ones and the neutral ones. The available blush shades are also pretty, from frosty pink, rosy ones, and some with peachy undertones. What I like the most from Coastal Scents shades are they are very pigmented and this palette consists of matte and shimmery eye shadows.
Next is my first eye pigment and it's NYX Loose Pearl Eye Shadow no. LP11 in the color Baby Pink. The reason why I bought this product is because it's shimmery, perfect for daytime and pink can bring lights to your eyes, making your eyes looks brighter. It's also comes in tiny bottle, super easy-to-carry.
Quick tips: I use this one color to highlight my brow bone, the center of my lids, and also my tear ducts. Sometimes I also use it to highlight my cheekbones.

I've been wanting to try on this mascara for ages, but The Falsies is my comfort zone :D I think I need a natural looking lashes sometimes though, so I decided to trust this Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto in the color Black. I always adore the packaging, it's super slick!
The first time I tried it out, I wasn't too satisfied because it makes my lashes looks clumpy :( Then I realized that I forgot to wipe the excess off! So this is the problem of new mascara: there will be too much product on the brush, thus it's essential to wipe the excess off on a tissue paper before each use. Now I must say that this is my day-to-day mascara, especially for work. I really elongates my lashes, but still look natural somehow.

I think by now people knows how much I love Masami Shouko's brushes ;) These three always follows me around in my makeup bag, especially if I need to do my eyes on the way. From top to bottom: eye shadow brush no. 208, smudging brush no. 216, and small eye shadow brush no. 221. I've had no. 208 for quite sometime, but the last two are new. By having them with me everywhere, I can create from a very subtle eyes to something smokey!
The next product is to die for (at least for me). I've been wanting to have The Brush Guard since ages ago, but I think they're not available in Indonesia yet, so I have to ask for my cousin's favor to shipped it from Coastal Scents for me. So far, they're the best product of the month, super duper useful! They're not only protecting your brushes, keeping them in shape, but also making sure that your brushes are clean when they're out of the house. I use them for after brush-washing as well, I just hope this product will be available soon in this country.
Now I realize that I tend to look for compact beauty products this month, including this one :) Anyway, this is the blush I used the most lately, not only because it's so handy, but I love the color and the formula as well. NYX Stick Blush are available in eight shades and Pink Poppy is one with golden undertone.
My last product from Coastal Scents and it's Sunless Body Art shimmery bronzer in the color Light. I used to love my bronzer from Everyday Mineral, but it can look too shimmery sometimes, especially for daylight so I decided to use this one instead. I love the color, not too orange, not too brown as well, but it's very pigmented that I have to use a stippling brush for an even application. I think I'm gonna need a matte bronzer soon :D
This cutesy is amazing! It's no bigger than my pinkie, but I just fell head over heels with this Cherry Mini Tony Tint from Tony Moly (sorry I lost the label, you can check my Instagram for its brand new state though). The look that I aim by using this lip tint is a bitten look, and Tony Tint is doing a great job!
I've never been into lip gloss, but this Super Lustrous Lip Gloss no. 070 Glossy Rose from Revlon totally captivate me. One thing I like is that it's not sticky and has this subtle and pretty frost. I love it how it looks over nude lips and it's also super wearable.
Moving on to nail polishes! I'm currently in love with pastel colors, so these nail polish from The Face Shop are my best friends on January. From left to right: YL702, BL601, BR302. The nude one is absolutely my favorite because it's usually hard for me to find a matte nude polish that suits my skin tone, but this one looks so pretty.
And we've arrived on skin care. I love The Body Shop skin care, especially their Vitamin E series. I'm using their moisturizer, I'm using their eye cream, and I thought I should give a try on their Hydrating Toner. First time I tried it, I think I would repurchase soon. It's also very moisturizing. Exactly what my dehydrated skin needs. Oh, I love how it smells too.
I told you guys that I'm dying to get rid of my acne scars this year for sure and this product is my first purchase. To be honest, I have less blemishes two weeks after my first try, though some hyper-pigmentation won't budge yet. But LESS BLEMISHES is something, right? I've heard people raving about how amazing The Body Shop Tea Tree series is, and I really hope this Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion stay with me till the end I say goodbye to all of my acne scars!
So that's all for my January Favorites! Hope you find this post useful!
Love,
P
PS: Sorry for the awkward lighting ;P
