Hi, everyone!
So, as this is the first NuTips that I share, I wanna talk about the most basic stuff that used to be a very dilemmatic issue for me.
Like, should you apply foundation or concealer first?
As we can see, these two friends of ours are actually the most important thing because they are actually the ones that sets our "canvas" ready for to be "painted". However, to have a flawless surface, which one should you apply first? Foundation, and you can then happily dots concealer only where you need extra coverage; or concealer first, and you'll need only a bit of foundation to even out your skin tone (to avoid cakey-face)?
I say foundation first then concealer, works best.
This is my idea:
Whenever you have your face sets with foundation, note that your skin tone is now even and it would be easier to do the next step: covering your blemishes. The most essential thing is your concealer won't smudge the first layer.
On the other hand, if you apply concealer first, foundation will smudge your first layer all over. This is especially if you use liquid or cream foundation as you will need to blend them together to even out your skin tone!
So, which way you prefer?
Love,
P
PS: Don't forget to set your first two layers with powder! ;P
