Hi, everyone,
If you are a big fan of flawless skin but you actually have flaws on your skin, don't you worry.
You might have tried tons of good skin care to repel your blemishes and be a good girl by doing healthy routine. Unfortunately, none of your effort succeed and you are stuck with under-eye dark circles, acne scars, redness, and any kind of imperfection.
Well, ladies, you are not alone.
Yes, I have flaws on my face, like, a lot. My number one enemies are crazy acne scars around my forehead and also a pair of annoying dark circles under my eyes. They just won't budge. I did some treatment but none works well and without despair, I am currently trying some new skin care routine in hope that it will run smoothly.
Now, enough for the prologue.
While I am battling with my flaws, I always rely on concealer to cheat ;D Yep, when you really need to cover, grab your concealer. Thank goodness if have nothing to hide, but for some people, foundation and powder are not enough. One thing you have to remember: less is more— look effortless!
Basically, you only need two kinds of concealer to hide your blemishes:
Liquid concealer:
If you are suffering from lack of sleep, you might need this kind of concealer like I do. Liquid concealer is absolutely effective for dark circles under your eyes.
Why use liquid, though? The reason is simple: liquid concealer blends better with your skin because of its texture. It might not give you the best coverage, but liquid concealer should be enough to disguise your dark circles. Liquid concealer won't exaggerates your fine lines as well (have you got yours?), so always use this type of concealer to cover the blemishes around your eyes area.
Quick tips: use your ring fingers and pat gently to blend your liquid concealer on your under-eye dark circles.
Cream or stick concealer:
I don't actually find any difference in these concealers except that stick concealer is much more handy. Apart from that, the texture is similar and it works best to cover your disturbing blemishes like acne scars and their friends. And, yes, you are going to need a concealer brush to apply it (for better coverage).
Quick tips: pick cream or stick concealer with buttery texture.
So, that's it! Two little products for flawless looking skin!
What's your favorite type of concealer?
Love,
P
PS: if you have oily skin, use powder concealer instead of cream or stick.
